Brazilian Portuguese artist Fernando Marques Penteado collaborated with a variety of people from Lambeth’s Portuguese speaking communities to examine their current experiences of living in Lambeth.

An exhibition of images is currently displayed throughout Lambeth Town Hall, including a selection of stills from video interviews with local Portuguese speaking men during a Festa Portuguesa hosted by Fernando. He also ran an education project with a group of Portuguese speaking pupils from Lilian Baylis School in Kennington. The group created their own superheroes - including this still of Patricio Melim as Punch Man - a cool character with a powerful left hook, photographed by Faisal Abdu’Allah.
