London Printworks commissioned six artists and designers working in fashion, contemporary art and architecture. They each explored the creation of hybrid urban identities through clothes, fashion accessories, video, installation and performance. ••• Initially exhibited in a vacant shop in the heart of Brixton, its audience was invited to wear the artists clothes and accessories, leaving the 'shop' with a photographic image of their new persona. Masquerade has since toured British venues.
